Materials for Learning

A child cannot learn without something to learn from. We put books, paper and pencils into the hands of students who share a single textbook between ten.

Every event we run doubles as a supply drive. Teams register, families gather, and the same trucks that carry goalposts carry crates of exercise books, chalk, readers and mathematics sets to the schools hosting us.

Working with head teachers, we build a per-classroom list rather than shipping generic boxes. That means a Primary 4 class gets the readers it is short of, and a science room gets the measuring equipment it has never had.

Sport is the invitation; materials are what stay behind after the final whistle.
